Abstract

The 26th Annual CEO Survey conducted by PwC reveals a stark reality: 40% of global CEOs fear their organizations will lose economic viability within a decade if they persist on their current trajectory. This alarming statistic underscores the urgent need for strategic reassessment among the 4,410 CEOs surveyed, representing 105 countries and territories.

The study highlights a dual imperative faced by these leaders: the pressing demand to reinvent their businesses for the future amidst challenging short-term conditions. With approximately 75% of CEOs anticipating declining global economic growth in the coming year, the survey summary delineates nine pivotal questions, categorised into three groups. These inquiries encapsulate the critical challenges and strategic considerations guiding CEOs as they navigate the uncertain terrain of the evolving global business landscape.
